i have very little to say in response to bigotry, prejudice and just plain stupidity any more - in my book, these people aren't sane and will never listen to reason or rationality - whether this is because of their religion, or whether they would have been this way in any case, i don't know - however, i am beginning to care less and less about the whys and wherefores - these are people who feel that giving their rights and freedoms to other people would be a threat to their freedoms - these people are dangerous

and you know what?

they can protest all they want about how this is all in the name of "love" - but, we know better...

hey GB:) - according to the HRC's sources (Human Rights Campaign), the ad will be running eight times a day in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and California

no, i can't imagine this would fly in Seattle, either, but then i never thought Prop. 8 would pass in CA either

hi WannabeTesla - (sorry for the late reply - we've been traveling) - yup - this ad was so appalling that i had to watch it a couple of times to make sure it was actually real - and then i couldn't stand the sight of it! - well, there's been plenty of mockery of it online - perhaps, it backfired somewhat?:)

hehehe - that was priceless - what's even better, is when you go to the page where NOM posted the ad on YouTube, they have 12,437 ratings averaging out to one star - hee hee

They had better not bring in same sex marriage in Australia, I don't want my heterosexual marriage to be destroyed and my freedom taken away!

Although they do mention that there are dark stormy clouds gathering with such an event, perhaps it would be a good thing to have same sex marriages over here we need something to break our drought and make it rain.

I was very impressed by the concluding remarks of the video. It is so wonderful to see so many people of different creeds and colours coming together and uniting in love as a "rainbow" coalition to protect marriage. So this rainbow coalition must be in favour of protecting same-sex marriage - right?
